Academy Energy Group has worked for a multitude of government agencies as a Prime Contractor/Supplier, as well as a Subcontractor/Supplier. AEG both performed with “Exceptional Management” and won prestigious Awards.

The U.S. General Services Administration’s Green Proving Ground (GPG) selected Academy Energy Group (SDVOSB) and Altaire Systems to demonstrate HVAC Dehumidification for Federal facilities.

Academy Energy Group solved and fixed the flickering LED Lighting and power issues at The National Archives. This was in the rotunda that houses The Declaration of Independence, The U.S. Constitution, and The Bill of Rights.

AEG was selected by the U.S. Department of Energy to supply 115kV Capacitor Banks for a substation upgrade project. The Contractor Performance Assessment Review (CPAR) by the Contracting Officer was “Exceptional Management”!

AEG also won a (4) four-year IDIQ to supply Circuit Breakers, Disconnect Switches and Instrument Transformers to the Southwestern Power Administration, part of the U.S. Department of Energy.

MANAGEMENT: Management has been very responsive to all inquiries and provided timely responses to all our questions. Academy Energy Group Professional personnel; were great to work with. They ensured close coordination with Western employees as the delivery date approached to ensure all parties are aware of the upcoming delivery and all coordinations have been completed. Saving time and effort for all Western employees involved including the Contracting Officer, Project Manager, and the engineers. All required test reports have been received timely.

ADDITIONAL/OTHER: I definitely would recommend Academy Energy Group for awards as they are very professional and responsible at what they do.

RECOMMENDATION: Given what I know today about the contractor's ability to perform in accordance with this contract or order's most significant requirements, I would recommend them for similar requirements in the future.
